Mayflies as a Lesson To Us!

Today is the day the mayfly's have decided that its their 'time to shine'. I have to say I find them immensely irritating as they are 'all over the place' but when I started to read up about the mayfly they are an amazing animal. They lay their eggs in water and then die, those eggs take a whole year to develop, they burst forth from their protective sac and perform all their duties in ONE DAY, birth, procreation and death! What a lesson we could learn from them, the preparation they have to go through to pack it all in in such a period of time. They truly live a life. Imagine if someone said to you, right you have one day to do all the things you want to achieve in your life, could we do it? I doubt it, as humans we have a long list of things we'd like to manifest and frankly if someone said 'right you have one day, I don't think we'd know where to start!' But the lesson we can take from these amazing, but irritating creatures, irritating because they do it on mass and 'drop like flies', lol (probably where the expression came from) is LIVE YOUR LIFE, you may have more than 24 hours like the mayfly but there is a 'clock on it' and every sun that rises and sets means another of those ticked off, never to return so get on with it.
