Popularity Contests

My Angels/Spirit Guides/God are saying ' you can either be popular or be right, take your pick'. I think most people struggle with the 'desire to be liked', nobody likes being ignored or blanked or disliked, not chosen at school to be in groups or teams etc. but the question I'm being given today is 'does it truly matter?'. Surely its more important to stick to your guns and be the person that you are supposed to be rather than 'toe the line'. I have 'sold my soul to the Devil' in the past to be popular and 'it comes back on you', its 'not nice' and leaves a very 'sour taste in your mouth that you never forget for the rest of your life' so 'walk and talk your truth my loves, even if people don't like you for it.
